Archive Settings are located on the Administrative tab in CareTracker.
Typically this would be used for mid to large chain homes or homes that collect and have a large amount of data. The need for the archive would then be based on the space available on the server. If the server is running out of room, then the data could be archived to a second server to conserve space.
Each archive database will contain only observe and activity information. When an archive occurs, data is moved from the current observe or activity table to the archive observe or activity table. The archived data is still accessible by the user, i.e., viewable in the file maintenance and when running reports.
